Healing Ministry

Concert season 2017  Congregation  God please show me  Concert season 2017

This ministry of teaching, prayer and caring is led by a small team of dedicated church members, supported by worship leaders with a heart for this ministry.

Those coming into St Johnís are welcome to light a candle as a prayer for someone they love. Anyone wanting to request prayer can write a note and pin it to our prayer board. These prayer requests join others received and are prayed for in our weekly service of prayers for healing and wholeness.

The service provides a quiet, gentle and safe environment, with a printed format which all who attend can follow. It includes:

         Prayers for healing and wholeness

An opportunity for private individual prayers for healing (with the laying on of hands and anointing with oil if requested.)

Bible reading and a short address bringing into focus God's healing provision and promised blessings

Every Wednesday at 1.45pm, St Johnís Methodist Church, Llandudno (usually finished by 2.15pm)

The church remains open until 4pm for anyone wanting to sit quietly in contemplation or view the churchís beautiful interior.

Who comes to the Healing Service?

The simple answer is... everyone. We find people come along for reasons that are obvious and not obvious. Some of us are in physical, emotional, relational or spiritual pain. Others are looking for answers. Some aren't even quite sure why they have come. But all agree, the Healing Service is a special, caring, loving and safe place.

What can I expect at the Healing Service?

Prayer

Speaking out our trust and dependence on God (prayer) is the foundation of our Healing Service. We provide a time in our service where everyone has the opportunity for individual prayer (and if they desire, laying on of hands and/or anointing with oil.)

God's Word

The Bible is where we hear God speak to us, and where God has fully revealed himself to us through his Son Jesus and his work of salvation on the cross. At the centre of our time is reading and reflecting on God's Word. As God's Word is shared with us, we are able to see how greatly we are loved by God, and that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.

Meditation

Whether it be after the address when we provide time to reflect on God's Word, or before and after the service in the ambiance of the Church - we reflect on God meeting us at our point of need.

Fellowship

Everyone is welcome at our service and to stay and share with the members of the team. We make committed and supportive friendships as we care for and love one another.
