Open Church

As usual we will be having open Church during July and August Tuesday to Friday. We do need volunteers to be in the church so please do volunteer to help out if your are able. This is a very important part of our church outreach especially in these troubled times when people want to come in and wander round and sit quietly and pray, so please do try to spare a couple of hours to help out. Rotas are on the welcome desk.

Many thanks, Linda

Llandudno Mosque
Sunday, 2nd July - 2pm to 5pm

You are invited to an "End of Ramadan" party at Llandudno Junction Mosqeu. Food and refreshments available. The food is plentiful so don't eat anything before you go. It's important in these troubled times that we all support each other whatever our beliefs.

Thursday 29th June at 11am - 12.30pm (coffee 10.45am) New discipleship group meets in St David's coffee lounge

Rev Professor David Wilkinson from Durham University is coming for our school Founders' Day in September and he's agreed to stay on in the evening to speak to a churches event so it is hoped get as many churches in the local are to advertise this event and not arrange too much to clash with it. David is a fantastic speaker on the general area of Science and Religion and also as an astrophysicist by training can tackle cosmology too; he also likes addressing the role of religion and popular culture. He's offered the title: The Search for God: Can Science Help? Rob Beamish at Princes Drive Baptist is happy to host as they organised some religious & scientific talks recently and hopefully that will get it out beyond the Methodist fold. A poster will be prepared nearer the date. This link will tell you more about David if you do not know of him. https://www.dur.ac.uk/theology.religion/staff/profile/?id=2006

The year is passing quickly by,
The days all come and go,
And what the months ahead will bring,
Lord, only You can know.
We thank You for companionship,
The laughter and the joy,
The gift of knowledge and of faith
Which nothing can destroy.

We ask for peace across the world
With hope to light each day,
\New tolerance for all mankind,
Lord help us find the way.
We count our blessings many times
And all Your gifts we see,
Remind us, Lord, throughout the year,
The best is yet to be.
